When you join RuvixTel we ask for some basic information like your email address and a mobile phone number, for us to send an activation code. We don't use your data for any reason other than authenticating your account and emailing you about updates and letting your friends know that you are using our service so you can enjoy free call and chat etc.

Your Contact Info:

When you access the RuvixTel app, we ask for access to your Contacts data. We do this so that we can check whether your contacts also have RuvixTel app. We will also inform them that you've joined and let you know when more of your contacts also start using RuvixTel. We only use the contact name and numbers - we don't access, use or store any other contact information.


We use this Contact info to enable you and your contacts to call each other for free. If you don't want us to use your Contact Info for this purpose, you can still use RuvixTel to call phone numbers at our RuvixTel rates but you won't be able to make free calls.


We also use your personal information to improve our Services and to offer more effective customer service. Also, your details help us perform research and analysis to help improve our service. Your details may be stored and processed in Brisbane, Australia or any other country in which RuvixTel or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. By using the RuvixTel Services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside your country. RuvixTel abides by applicable safe harbor frameworks regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information.


Sharing of Your Personal Information: We will not disclose your personal information outside RuvixTel/AMPTEL Pty Ltd and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates without your consent, except as described in the Terms of Service.


Some RuvixTel Services may be offered in conjunction with another company. In such cases, both RuvixTel and the other company may receive information collected in conjunction with these co-branded services.

Accessing your Personal Information:

You may be able to view or edit your personal information online. To help prevent your personal information from being viewed by others, you will be required to sign in with your credentials (mobile number/username and PIN).

Deleting Your Data:

If you want to stop using RuvixTel or delete your data from our systems, you can do this quickly and easily by contacting us at support@ruvixtel.net .


By deactivating your RuvixTel account, all personal information including your phone number, email address and contact data will be deleted from our systems. You will no longer be able to use RuvixTel and will lose any account balance you may have. Your account cannot be reactivated.


Security of Your Personal Information:

RuvixTel uses advanced security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. Your details are stored on computer systems with limited access in controlled facilities, are protected with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption when transferred over the internet.


Your PIN helps protect your accounts and personal information, and therefore it is your responsibility to keep your PIN confidential. Do not share it with anyone, and make sure you log out before leaving the Site.

Call Data Records:

When you make a call using RuvixTel a Call Data Record (CDR) is created. This CDR contains basic information including the number dialled and the duration of the call. The data is held independently of your account and does contain contact names. CDRs are used purely to understand anonymous data usage of the RuvixTel service, identify trends, address, and possible issues and improve the service.

Sensitive Payment Data:

As well as making free calls, RuvixTel users can also call regular telephone numbers which are charged at the rates shown in the website. To make these calls users have to add credit to RuvixTel. This can be done via credit card or PayPal. None of this payment data is saved by RuvixTel. For credit card payments we process transactions using Commonwealth Bank (Australia) and PayPal payment gateway. They process transaction using the highest level of card security.

Log files and IP Addresses:

RuvixTel uses your IP address to diagnose our server problems and to administer our Site.

Cookies:

We use Google Analytics cookies, which help us to monitor our website traffic and ascertain for instance the popularity of certain areas of our website, or the most popular mobile devices used by visitors.


Cookies aren't used to identify you personally, they're just here to make the site work better for you, and are completely anonymous. You can choose not to accept cookies via your web browser settings.
